picture of Darma with a litter We breed only infrequently, and our litters are planned in advance by researching pedigrees and paying particular attention to health, temperament, structure and other components of the breed standard. Both parents must have approved clearances for hips, elbows, heart and eyes to be used in our breeding program. The puppies are whelped and raised in our house, with constant interaction and introductions to lots of different sounds, surfaces and stimulation.
While I aim to produce puppies who can compete and win in multiple performance venues and in the breed ring, to me, the most important and valuable thing my puppies can become are loved members of a family.
What could be cuter than a Golden Retriever puppy? But that puppy will soon grow into an active, large, shedding dog that requires daily exercise and care. If you are new to this breed and are considering a new Golden puppy, I recommend you visit www.grca.org for valuable information about this wonderful breed before making a commitment to buy a puppy.
All pet puppies are sold on limited registration with spay/neuter contracts. I encourage all of my puppy buyers to participate in the fun and teamwork of training, whether just informally or towards some level of competition with their dogs. Aside from laying groundwork for manners and the making of a really great family dog, it is fun time spent together for both dog and owner!
